The food was great and the service was excellent. We had a party of 7 and was seated within 10 minutes. I can't believe how nice everyone was to us, my kids even noticed the genuinely polite people. The popcorn place was nice too. Thank you

This is a cute mom n pop place, it's small but good ole home cooking!!! They have great food and when people wait outside to get in you know it is, will be back here for sure on my next visit!!

Breakfast lines out the door can easily be explained. The sausage patties look like 1/2lb burgers. Everything else was cooked perfectly, eggs over, good toast selection, crispy bacon, very solid pancakes! The potatoes, sliced thin and cooked/crisped perfectly steal the show with the sausage... And the low price tag! Can't see even trying another spot on our 4 day stay. Just that good!

It was a sad day seeing the for sale sign in the front window of this place. Then we found out that it had been purchased and the new owners planned to keep it open. It was our first trip up to PC for the summer and we stopped in Saturday morning for our inaugural breakfast. Very little had changed. Some new counter tops behind the breakfast counter were installed and some knick-knacks had changed. The biggest difference was the menu.. When I started looking at the menu I was taken back by the drastic increase in the prices coupled with the lack of variety that it once had. The old man sitting next to me at the breakfast counter was a local and asked took a peak to see how much the coffee was and was shocked that his $2 wasn't going to cut it. The owner seemed less than sympathetic and really could have used some customer service skills. Her reply to the man was "I don't feel bad, we haven't raised our prices in four years." I got a full order of biscuits and gravy. I did everything I could to give them some sort of flavor, but they were just bland and dull. I did not even finish them and not because I was full, but because I just didn't want to. I come from the clean plate generation, so for me to not finish is a huge clue, that your food sucks. This really is a disappointment. I loved this place. I have my favorite breakfast place back in Cleveland and for 2 eggs, hash browns, choice of meat and toast it will cost you $2.55. I know that is ridiculously low, but $7.29 for the same thing here is equally as ridiculous. Sure food prices have gone up.. but its frickin' eggs... I guess I wouldn't have been so disappointed if the food had remained the quality it was before. I have had better meals at Ponderosa. Thanks for ruining a small town favorite.

Real home cooking, generous servings, wonderful staff and a inviting atmosphere. Truly a pleasure to dine here. Anyone visiting the area should plan to eat at this little corner diner. And if you are an early-riser, they open at 5AM.

Not fancy. Really delicious food. Service is polite and speedy. Best diner in the area. I love the updates and how they refreshed the place recently. Wonderful.

Moved people through quickly, efficiently. Food was fantastic, would stop here again. Went in hungry, excited stuffed. Pricing wasn't terrible, but a little expensive for eggs, pancakes, etc. Women's bathroom was clean and not scary. All the ladies working were friendly and worked together. Didn't look there were assigned tables, they all just made sure drinks were delivered, orders taken, food brought out, coffee refilled, etc.

This place gets a solid 4. It's a greasy spoon with great Saturday grub. Breakfeast for 2, with coffee, came in under $20. We would come here again.

Nothing fancy, not at all, but standard fare with quick and efficient service. They're pros at feeding hungry fisherman before they go out on the boats so they've got a pretty effective system going. Quick to fill up coffee, a little too much butter on the toast, a pretty all-American standard breakfast diner. They have a lunch menu, too, but I don't know that I've ever eaten it. Closes early afternoon.
